My heart is broken. Dad passed away last Monday (February 16th). I was able to get home and spend 90 minutes with him before he went to heaven. We had the visitation on Friday and the funeral on Saturday. It was a great celebration.

Hello. I was in Minnesota this past weekend to spend time with the family. My dad is in ICU at Methodist Hospital. It was determined this past weekend that he has pneumonia. He needs the help of a ventilator to get him the right amount of oxygen. I came into town on Thursday evening (basically Friday morning since it arrived at 11:30 pm). Tom was nice to pick me up and drive me directly to the hospital to see dad since he got the breathing tube that day. I picked up mom on Friday and we spent the entire day at the hospital. My friends, Buffie and Andrea, stopped in and had lunch with us. Mom and I came back on Saturday and spent the day with dad. He was much more alert this day. I showed him my web site and he thought the picture of Spike was pretty entertaining. Mom and I then went to our local church Sunday morning and then went to the hospital. My friend Beth came in and hung out with us and then was sweet enough to drive Mom and I around. I flew back to San Diego on Sunday evening. Dad is improving slightly but with every good day we seem to have a little set back the next. Please keep dad in your prayers.

Trip to NYC

Friday Morning ~ I had breakfast with Robin and Amy. It was so great catching up with them. I then went over to Shane and Jennifer's place to drop off my luggage. Jennifer, Ysabel and I were then off to the city. I had a hair appointment with Michael. We also stopped by the store in Union Square to do a little work.
