I met up with Katja tonight for dinner at Oddfellows in Hoboken. She leaves Friday to go back to Germany. She has been Ysabel's nanny for two years. I promised to send her many pictures of Ysabel and also of the baby that will arrive in the fall.

I walked over six miles today. I met up with Lara for our usual walk. It was very muggy, the air was thick. It made the 200+ steps rather challenging. Lara was able to score guest passes to the pool next to her condo. It was great to cool off and swim.
Happy Memorial Day!

I had a BBQ last night. Shane, Jen and Ysabel came over to my apartment. I had filled up Ysabel's pool and she had a great time splashing her parents. I made chicken and steak fajitas. I also invited Jeff and Ashley, they live above me in the house.

Happy Birthday Buffie!!!
Hello

What a beautiful weekend! Spike and I have been getting to know the neighborhood by going on long walks. We went out for a 4 mile walk today. I have been wearing a pedometer and it has been registering between 10,000 - 20,000 steps in a day.
Hello
Hello! The change of address cards are getting into homes. I have heard from friends on the east coast. Here are a couple of links that show you my Weehawken home. Enjoy the site. Talk to you soon.
Darbi (college friend) and I met up today for brunch and a show. We met at Gin Lane in the meat packing district. We saw Company at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Darbi is a cohost of a podcast show for actors and is interviewing an actor from Company on Tuesday.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, MOM!!! I will see you in a couple of weeks.

Hello! Spike and I go for a walk along the Hudson River every day. I brought my camera with me today. First we will start with a little history lesson on Weehawken.

Look for my change of address cards in your mailbox next week! Where does time go? I am finishing up the tasks of a move to a new state. Today I picked up my New Jersey insurance. Tomorrow I am off to the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain my New Jersey license and plates. I am quite positive I will need to make another trip as the VW Bug is leased and there are more hoops to jump through with leased vehicles. I have to get it done this month as my tabs expire in May.
I went to Hoboken today for a street fair. Met up with Jen, Ysabel and Shane. They closed down the main street. I learned how to get around via bus.
Lara and I have been doing a lot of walking. Lara lives in West New York (2 towns north of Weehawken) ~ about 45 blocks from my place. We met along the Hudson River and walk up and down steps or very large hills. We went and checked out a new restaurant that just opened in Union City, New Jersey.
My friend Mike Sidders sent me the link to a great video on YouTube. It inspires you to really give back to the community that you live in. Please watch this Inspirational Video on Volunteering.
