I stayed at Tom and Jean's for three days. The kids are a lot of fun. They all have braces - Sam just got his on and Marie will be getting hers off any day. I call this picture - CHA CHING for obvious reasons.

Sam had a hockey tournament this weekend. I went to two of the games. They came in third place - WAY TO GO SAM! Here is Marie and Tom at the game.

Thanksgiving: The whole family got together at mom and dad's house. It was a great day!

High school friends - Met up at The Big Bowl at the Galleria on Sunday. Here I am with Marie and Andrea.

Saturday Night - Beauty and the Beast performance at the New Prague High School. Marie, Carissa and Megan trying to behave.

Boy is Spike getting spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Here is Spike lounging in Grandpa's lap. It is funny to think that our yellow lab Sandy wasn't even allowed upstairs when I was growing up. Boy have times changed!

Congratulations to Karla!

Karla spoke on KSTP (1500 AM) this morning regarding schools and state/federal testing. She totally kicked ARS! Karla provided the teacher point of view.

Met up with Astrid and Jeff tonight at The View in Uptown Minneapolis. The View is in the Calhoun Beach Club, it is where Dixies used to be. They have a very nice happy hour.

How Our Girl's Weekend Started:
Hi! I was waiting for this photo from Karla. The cabin is located in McGregor MN, 90 miles north of the Twin Cities. During the fall and winter months when we visit the cabin we always seem to have a story about the cabin. This year is absolutely NO DIFFERENT! This was also Carolyn's first trip to the cabin. This was quite the initiation for Carolyn. We arrived at the cabin around 3 pm on Friday. We walked into the cabin and started looking around. Karla walked into the bathroom and came out with a look of terror on her face. I think I probably offered Buffie up for assistance, since that is what I do. I ended up checking it out and looked and saw a varmint suicide in the toilet (see picture below). We then started talking about how we were going them out of the toilet. Buffie’s bright idea was to take the toilet out completely. I then stepped up to the plate and said that I would take them out. We then went on a mission to find something long enough to use. I put on rubber gloves and grabbed the barbeque tongs. Karla stood next to me holding the garbage can. I tonged out 2 little squirrels. I then stated to Karla that the water was still quite dirty looking. She then tonged out 2 mice. What a way to kick off the weekend!

Spike and I have spent the last three days at Buffie and John's house. Spike and Sampson (Clumber Spaniel) have been having a blast. My goal was to get Spike totally worn out so when he stays at Grandma and Grandpa's house (since it is Girl's Weekend) he will be sleeping a lot.

Bob Reeves, a friend that I got to know when I was at Motricity, came into town with 3 other Traffic Leader employees (Mike, Todd and Bill) to meet up with clients. Bob wanted me to show his work colleagues from Traffic Leader where to go in Minneapolis.

Drinks and Dinner at Town Talk Diner in South Minneapolis. Here we are drinking Miller High Life, The Champagne of Beers (thus our glasses). After dinner we went over to The Cardinal for some Finnegans. It was a fun night.

Hello ~ Minnesota is having some really nice weather. Tuesday and Wednesday of this week will even be in the mid sixties! My virtual tour of my house is finally done. Check it out:

Me, Mel, Jacquie and Cory took part in the Summit Case Race on Saturday. We may have won if I would have not worn my sweet boots. Next Year, Watch OUT!

Met up with Lindsay Neely, friend from my Select Comfort days. She also designed my great business cards. Here she is with Parker (got to love the jeans!).

Met Shad, Larry and Steve, friends from Select Comfort, for breakfast. My camera batteries went dead so had to go to Shad's Treo to take pictures. Of course my fingers could not operate the camera.

It is freezing cold in Minnesota. It was back to reality for Spike and me. It is great to be back in town!

Halloween: I stopped by Tom and Jean's house on the way back to mom and dads. Marie (witch) and her friend (cat) were holding watch handing out candy to the ghosts and goblins. They were also quite demanding about their hot chocolate.
