You have to love the look on Mare's face. She doesn't look to psyched for the bike ride. This is outside their home in Holland.

I have been enjoying my time. My consulting work started immediately which is great. I have been networking with friends. There are a lot of great jobs open. I have also been catching up on my reading both personal and professional. I was also behind in my movie watching but I am getting all caught up now (special thanks to Blockbuster and the free trial).

Special thanks to Lindsay Neely for assisting with some fantastic photoshop action on this poster:

Hello - I have been having site issues since last Tuesday when my hosting company made a ton of changes. I am aware that I am missing all my old photos.

For all my Minnesota visitors to the site - Did I tell you that the temperature yesterday was 88 degrees and SUNNY?

    xoxo
    Thanks for visiting

OK - I owe this to my niece Megan. I failed to post this in August.

Sonja, Annika, Megan and Marie - looking oh so Hawaiian!

Poor Spike has not been on my web site for some time. I decided to make up for it today. My screened in porch was turned into a year-round room. You would not believe the amount of pollen and enormous bugs that were in my screened in porch. I had them rip out the screens and take away the cheapest storm door and replace them with two sliding windows and an actual door. I am extremely happy with the results.

What do you think of my glass set I found at the Country Store when Lisa and Julie were in town? I kept forgetting to take a picture. Makes you want to say the pledge of allegiance - right?

Hi! The weekend flew by. The weather was fabulous ~ 86 degrees every day.

I missed the birthday party for JT (his birthday is this Thursday). Special thanks to Megan and Marie for sending me pictures of my parents and their new set of wheels.

The funny thing is the license plate ~ It is similar to 'uffda'

Interesting Day Today! I will go into more details on a later date. This date however will be set as a defining moment for my future career path. I have figured out what I am made of with this journey to North Carolina. I have also learned critical items that I will take with me the rest of my life.

    I will explain more shortly.

Bummer - The long weekend is coming to an end. Back to reality tomorrow. My weekend was pretty low key. I saw the movie Talladega Nights ~ Got to love a movie that makes fun of Nascar. According to the web site my race car name is 'Clutch Master'.

I still need to make it to a Nascar event. First let me clarify what I mean. I want to get a group of people together. Take a limo to Charlotte, which is a two hour drive. Go to an event but really people watch and take in the 'fashion'. Take the limo back to Durham. It would basically be a six hour party.

My weekend was pretty low key ~ shopping and running errands. I tried to get caught up with my 'to do list', which is never fun. I went to a BBQ last night.

Later - Thanks for checking out my site.
