My college friend Lisa and her cousin Julie came in town for a visit. Friday night we went to Tylers Tap Room in downtown Durham.

Saturday - I had to bring them to the infamous Waffle House.



I took them to Patterson's Mill Store


We had lunch at the Mellow Mushroom


We went to dinner in downtown Raleigh ~ 42nd Street Oyster Bar


We then went to a jazz club Amras ~ We had a blast. Lisa and Julie enjoyed a cigar. No cigars for Carol. I felt fine in the morning.


Lisa and Julie then went to Asheville for two days and stayed at the Biltmore. I got to go to my lovely job ~ lucky me!

Happy Thursday! Only one more day until the weekend! WOO HOO

John and Eunice Update (my parents) - They are STYLIN' and PROFILIN' in a Silver PT Cruiser! How cool is that? I am hoping that one of my brothers takes a photo soon so I can post it on the web site.

Hello - Today is August 22nd (aka Carol's freedom day)

I have now been divorced 4 years. The day is hilarious since it was also the wedding day - 8 years ago. I just have a different way of celebrating. It is ALL about me!

I am getting over my sleep deprivation. Been back in the office 2 days now.

Sunday ~ We all crashed at Jill's house for old times (plus some of us were in no shape to drive). After only minimal sleep at Jill's house I headed off to say hi and goodbye to my parents. I then headed up to my brother Tom's house. Tom and JT were in Cooperstown playing in the baseball tournament for 12 year olds. Tom was one of their coaches.

Had lunch with Lindsay, Cheryl and Cindy from Select Comfort - Lindsay is fixing the photo as we speak - Went to my MOST favorite greek restaurant - Athens Cafe in Robbinsdale



Get together at Kieran's Irish Pub - Ended up raising $820 for Finnegans Community Fund - Thanks to all - If you gave cash and need a receipt let me know and I will get one sent to you.
