Happy New Year! I hope 2010 is going well for you.

January 18th will be Spike's 7th Birthday!! He is doing well. He didn't appreciate boarding over Christmas. He lost his bark. It has been almost three weeks and have recently seen small steps to him regaining his bark. My poor little angel.

It was tough this past week. January 13th came and went and this day is very special since it is Dad's birthday. We all miss him so much. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him. He was definitely missed at Christmas. We started a new tradition of lighting a candle and telling stories. I was not able to participate this year, but hopefully next year.

Mom's Birthday Celebration - I went to church with mom and then the whole family met up to see David in the play 'Great News'. He was fabulous! We then had dinner at Greg and Becky's house. I made my famous stuff shells per mom's request.

Saturday night - Andrea and I went to New Market. Derek and his wife Holly joined us. We had a wonderful visit.


Saturday afternoon - Mom and I went to Sam's hockey game. He won!

Friday - I arrived early afternoon. I met Buffie, Karla, Amy and Carolyn. We had a girl's night in Roseville. It was a good time. We failed to take any photos.

Time to get caught up. I went to New York in late October. I had a fabulous trip.

Claudia toured with Moby and hooked me up with back stage tickets at The House of Blues.

Amy came to San Diego for a long weekend. We had a fabulous time.

Saturday was a whirlwind. We had breakfast at The Cottage then went for a long walk in La Jolla. Ice cream in Encinitas then onto Balboa Park then to Gas Lamp for margaritas.

Flemings on Friday. We then headed over to La Jolla and enjoyed some Mojitos.

Labor Day Weekend - I went to the Marine Museum. My dad was stationed at El Toro. The first plane was after his time there. The second plane is in line with his time on the base.

Lei Lounge with friends- Great TIME!! Unbelievable cocktails- my favorite was the Aloe Vera Collins and a close second was the Basil & Pineapple Martini

Buffie set up a birthday conference call. Buffie, Karla, Andrea and I talked for almost two hours. I haven't laughed so hard in some time. I am thinking that a girl's weekend in McGregor is definitely needed around deer hunting time.

OK - I have been horrible! Let's get caught up.

My friend Linsday visited in mid July. We had the best weather and an incredible time.

Coronado Hotel Del - We laughed so hard when we witnessed a little girl probably around 4 years old lift up her sundress and pee on the grass. Her mother was horrified but then stated "I thought you had panties on"

Sunday - Dinner at Trulucks and Japengo

We went to Wild Animal Park. I found out how hot it is in when you head inland. OMG for every mile east it gains a degree. At my apartment it was 78 degrees and when we drove into the parking lot at Wild Animal Park my car registered 99 degrees. Seriously cannot live like that.

Spike and Lindsay - Spike got totally spoiled. Lindsay fell for the nose jab every time Lindsay stopped petting him.

Headed to Vegas for Father's day weekend - I needed to get out of town and spend time with friends since dad passed away earlier this year.

What a great weekend at home in Minnesota. Busy but fun! 

Sunday - Went to church with mom. We then went to the cemetery to see dad. The tombstone is now in and looks beautiful. I am so grateful for all my great friends and unbelievable family. Special thanks to Jill and Kim for driving my sorry butt around. 

Saturday Evening - Attended Spider's Web at Park Square Theatre. Carolyn Pool was absolutely amazing!
